Explore one of West Cornwall’s most photographed bays and walk across the causeway to St Michael’s Mount. In the area, you’ll also find Gwelen, a new arts trail that reimagines a submerged ancient forest in Mount’s Bay.
Marazion is a historic town on the shore of Mount’s Bay. It’s most famous for St Michael’s Mount, an island with a castle that can only be reached by boat or at low tide when the causeway is revealed. It’s an absolute must-see for anyone travelling to the West Cornwall area. Visit between October and March, and it can feel as though you have the entire beach to yourself.
