Penzance to Mousehole walk

Nothing says, ‘Welcome to Cornwall!’ quite like a wander through the narrow streets of a historic fishing village. This 3.6-mile route follows the coast from Penzance, through the working harbour of Newlyn, past the busy fish market and into Mousehole – with plenty of cosy pubs to duck into along the way. An easy route that will take around an hour each way. See the route here.

Jubilee Pool is the UK’s largest seawater lido and it’s usually reserved for humans, but on the day before the pool is closed for its annual clean, they open it up to swimmers and their canine companions. This event usually happens in late October. Keep your eyes peeled for dog friendly events on their Facebook page.

This Penzance farm has an incredible story. Two young farmers with no family background in farming have transformed the land into a small holding, campsite and countryside classroom.
