The festive season is fast approaching, and we’re delighted to share the key dates and details for the magical events happening in Penzance this Christmas.
This year’s enchanting theme, chosen by last year’s Christmas Window Competition winner, is:
Mystical Christmas in Penzance:
A Fantastical Winter Celebration
Our town will be transformed into a realm of mystical wonder – where folklore meets fantasy and the magic of the season dances on every sea breeze.
Bring your imagination to life and help us create a truly magical Penzance.
Saturday 29th November – Christmas Lights Switch-On
Festivities throughout the town, with the big switch-on at 5:15pm.
Friday 12th December – Humphry Davy Birthday Celebrations
Join us for the lantern procession – with more schools taking part than ever!
Throughout December – Christmas Markets
Festive markets at St John’s Hall, The Exchange Gallery, The Acorn, Pixel, Morab Library, Polgoon Vineyard, and workshops at Redwing Gallery.
Sunday 21st December – Montol Procession
Experience the magic as mystical creatures bring Penzance to life throughout the day.
