The Quirky Bird is a family owned and run café producing homemade food in a light and friendly setting. Sitting alongside our gift shop, stocking locally produced art, crafts and produce, The Quirky Bird is the ideal spot to break for lunch and pick up that little something for someone special.

Acclaim

We popped into The Quirky Bird for a coffee before wandering around the shops. It's a bright airy café with friendly welcoming staff. The homemade cakes are delicious. I had raspberry and polenta cake and my daughter had maple syrup and pecan cake. I can highly recommend both. There's also a selection of gifts for sale. These are tastefully displayed and don't take over the space. I'll be making a return visit the next time I visit Penzance.”
