A two storey contemporary gift, homeware & accessories store in the heart of Penzance high street from Cornish owners Alan & Esme Burton. Our emphasis is on a more sustainable life and to promote ‘Locally Made & Fair Trade’.
Established in 2014, the thoughtfully curated space reflects a high quality of creativity in West Penwith, with emphasis on coastal living and giving.
Choose pieces from 30 Cornwall makers/artists like Jago Silver, Humble Cottage, Julia Crimmen, Alison Bick, Bloom Remedies, Lucie Sivicka & Lincoln Kirby-Bell, Theresa Shaw, Amanda Slade, Chris Thompson & Dianne Haddon.
Esme is also a designer-maker creating pretty floral jewellery collections. Sometimes you can catch her at the workbench, making in silver & copper.
Alongside Fair Trade brands Ian Snow and Birch & Yarn we showcase Cornish small brands, St Eval Candles, and Liga Eco Home.

“The type of people who shop here are switched on and thoughtful and are aware of what’s going on in the world. They do really appreciate the eco-friendly side of things; the recycled, re-used and up-cycled products.
“I think where the big corporates are falling down and not acting quickly and not responding to this need for plastic free options, the small local business can act quickly … and that’s the crucial thing. I’m the boss, I can make decisions and I can talk to suppliers and work with them to find solutions.”
