Sennen
This is one of the regions favourite surf beaches, that stretches for over a mile and is backed by green headlands. The crescent shaped beach has easy access for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Life guards patrol the beach during peak season and dogs are permitted between October and Easter.

Cape Cornwall
Is a small headland near St Just owned by the National Trust and is one of only two capes in Britain. Its where the Atlantic current divides.
Steeped in history, the Cape Cornwall Mine and iconic chimney stack dates back to 1894 when in operation tin and copper extraction was done from under the sea. Its now part of the Tin Coast Cornish mining World Heritage Site.

A beautiful small sandy cove. For a bit of adventure, walk from Penzance to Mousehole and then to Lamorna Cove

Porthcurno
The beach has stunning soft sand and clear blue green ocean waters. Easy access makes it a hit with families. It is overlooked by the open-air Minack Theatre which lies nestled in the cliffs. The sheltered beach has a stream which is perfect for paddling. Lifeguards are present during the summer months and dogs are permitted October to Easter.

Godrevy
Located at the northern end of Hayle’s three mile beach this is an excellent surfers beach. Godrevy lighthouse sits on an island 50 metres out to sea. Life-guards present in Summer months. Dogs are not allowed at peak season

Hayle Towans
A two mile long beach that stretches from Hayle town to the Hayle estuary. Great for families with wide open sands and sand dunes. Lifeguards present during the summer months. Dogs only allowed in winter months

Carbis Bay
This one mile long beach is close to St. Ives. Turquoise sea and pristine soft light golden coloured sands are idea as the beach is often protected rom prevailing winds by high tree covered cliffs. No dogs permitted from Easter to October

Praa sands

Porthleven
This is a three mile long stretch of sandy shingly expanse. Visitors can then walk along the cliffs to Loe Beach with its wonderful views and natural freshwater lake (but not advisable for sea swimming due to offshore currents). Some parts of the Porthleven beach are open to dog walking all year round.

Kennack Sands Beach
This beach is owned by Tregothnan Estate and boasts a vast sandy and fine shingle beach with numerous rock pools and grassy banks on the Lizard Peninsular

The Lizard
The Lizard is the most southerly point of the British mainland with so much to take in, depending on your mood. A must to visit is Lizard Point where since 1751 there has been a lighthouse warning shipping of the dangers of this beautiful but treacherous coastline.
The Lizard has many surprises around every corner, with hidden coves and lovely villages. Mullion village is a lovely stop off and explore with galleries, cafes and many a stories of lost treasure ships.
